A must-read. Just amazing. A warning - the tagged rape is of children. The act isn't shown, but it along with the aftermath is talked about in detail once.

Summary
A renegade criminal is making alterations to the time stream, and it is Alex's mission to rectify the time alterations while maintaining a low profile. He manages pretty well, up until the moment he accidentally recruits Hunter Bradley into his mission. Neither one of them are particularly happy about this. Or each other.
Hunter thinks this is somewhat justified, but Alex just wants to do his job. This may or may not take longer than they expected it to. They also may or may not grow to find some redeeming qualities in each other. It's unfortunate, really.

Bookmarker's Notes
The writing, the plot, the characters, the angst, etc, etc. - simply put, everything - is exceptional. I'd do anything to read this for the first time again. Easy to follow; non-fans can read this too. You only need to know a little background info about the two seasons, just the major plot lines from Time Force, and even that much isn't necessary tbh. Highly recommend! <3

Summary
Nico is alive. Jason can feel Nico breathing against him, and the mop of ebony hair actually tickles against Jason, and Nico’s skin is smooth against him.
“You’re so cold,” Nico whispers in his ear, shivering.
“You’re not,” Jason whispers back, and he holds back a sob. He feels Nico’s hands wrap around his shoulder blades—and Jason doesn’t know if it’s the touch, or Nico’s silent word, but he feels calm. At peace.
--
Jason spends his time in the Underworld waiting for Nico to come visit him. Waiting for everyone else to die, so he's not alone. Wondering how he's in Elysium, and why he can't be happy.

Bookmarker's Notes
Actually does justice to Jason's character; even in the HoO books I always felt like his arc was rushed and didn't get resolved right. Even in fanworks, he's mostly portrayed as a calm and placid character that's boring with no actual respect for his personality, his struggles with his identity and expectations. Which is why that one part in this fic is so satisfying. Much kudos to this writer.
