“And we do.” Addam’s lips quirked up at that, seemingly involuntarily, as he gave the slightest of nods.
“And it’s not a companion bond,” Addam added, voice barely above a whisper. Brand shook his head once in confirmation.
“So that means… that we’re…” Brand couldn’t bring himself to say it. Couldn’t put the thought to words for fear of breaking it, somehow. Fear of banishing the truth of it once it was out there.
Addam, it seemed, had no such concern. “Tallas,” he said in that reverent whisper, a smile beginning at his eyes, which Brand couldn’t look away from.aka Addam and Brand have a conversation about their developing bond (and then kiss about it)
