Though he knows the people he's leading might be the most dangerous group of people that currently resided in Strickland, Seonghwa can't help but think of them as his own. To him, the little rascals under his care are nothing more than precious little babies. So what if they liked committing acts of treason and plotting to overthrow the government? It's not the worst thing Seonghwa has ever seen.
As a leader, he needs to protect them. In their line of work, every day is a gamble; one never knows if it'll be their last day alive, and Seonghwa wants to make sure they live long enough to know what the taste of freedom is like. And sometimes, his job is defending his kids from his husband's petty antics. He really should be paid for this, he's doing everything for free.
