Summary
After disappearing for months with no word to his family, a grieving Lambert shows up for Christmas at the old man's house. Geralt is wrapped up in his own concerns, absorbed by his precious new child, his on and off again love affair, and reconciling with his best friend who will no longer speak to him. Lambert confides in him about Aiden, but when Geralt refuses to assist him in his vengeance, Lambert is left full of rage and grief with no outlet. Until he makes a secret arrangement with someone else in a similar position.
What do you do when you've lost everything? You take what isn't yours.

“Damien saved her.” Bruce says. It's been a long week. “Everything will be sourced. Bedding, food, milking tools.”
Clark gives him a look. “She’s a beef cow and she doesn’t have a calf. There’s nothing to milk.”
Bruce looks down at his keyboard.
“You know nothing about cow care, do you?” Clark says.
“I can research.” Bruce says weakly.
“You do that.” Clark says. “I’m taking the cow.”

Bat-Cow is rehomed at the Kent farm. Damien visits constantly to see her. Bruce does too.

“We're in Gotham!” Wally exclaims
“Not our Gotham.” Bruce grits. “That shop closed down three months ago. This entire block is four feet longer than it should be. And in our world-”
A street sign shimmers in the rain. Bruce grimaces.
“In our world- there is no Lady Wayne Avenue.”
“Lady Wayne.” Clark says. "Why that name?"
“One of two options. One, my mother did more charity work in this world independently of my father, enough to secure a separate name for herself and a knighthood. Or, the more likely option, a simple change of chromosome or brain chemistry in her only child.”
There is a third option.
But of course, Bruce doesn't even consider that.
