    Shouta had read it countless times in the mandatory book at the end of first year that talks about survivors guilt. The protagonist had thought it atleast once a chapter until the end, where they finally accepted their friends death and their survival.

    Shouta wasn’t a protagonist, and he wasn’t trapped in a world where everything had to be wrapped up neatly in a bow by the end.

    He could make it be him.
