Summary
Every time I listen to Red Wine Supernova, I picture Harvey having a bisexual awakening. This is a super introspective fic from Harvey’s POV where he has an existential crisis about Mike while watching a Brigitte Bardot movie and finally decides to do something about it. It's steamy but super fluffy and sappy. Harvey struggles with his identity a bit but I wouldn't really quantify it as internalized homophobia.
There's not a particular time this is set in, but I'm envisioning it in either Season 1 or early Season 2.
—After a few minutes of silence, Mike asked, “Not that I’m complaining, but what brought this on?”
Harvey answered vaguely, “I was watching a Brigitte Bardot movie.”
Mike let out a surprised laugh and asked, "‘En cas de Malheur’?"
“Yeah, how did you guess?”
“Welllll… it’s the only one with a love affair between a successful lawyer and someone much younger.”
Harvey swatted his thigh.
“Mhm. And are you forgetting the part where they only meet because she’s an absolute disaster and can’t help breaking the law?”—
