Gary groaned into his pillow, and ignored the look that Rank had shot his way. Two fucking hours of his life wasted on going through online dictionaries just to learn that Parker introduced himself like a normal fucking human being.
He had figured it out, he could close the laptop, forget about it all and go to sleep. But… He could also go through the fingerspelled alphabet, just in case Parker needed to spell something to him again. It would be easier that way, that's all. It didn’t mean anything more.
He didn’t close his laptop until he had all the letters of the alphabet memorized.

Something inside Silco shatters at seeing his eldest so utterly defeated. “Because you can save your breath. I already know.” He doesn’t look at Silco, doesn’t acknowledge his presence in any other way than the words floating between them, in the air that’s so much cleaner than the toxic fumes they both grew up in.

Something that Yuri hasn’t quite been able to stop thinking about since the whole mess with Mr. Martin and Maddie's body is what he saw in Charley’s scar. It’s not like he didn’t expect to find unsettling things when they ventured in there. That’s kind of the point of the scars, isn’t it? But what he didn’t expect to find out was that Charley was his own self-proclaimed ‘biggest bully.’ He’s never been very good at talking about the uncomfortable things, but he wants to be for Charley. He wants him to know that he’s here and he’s willing to listen and that Charley never has to feel wrong or unwanted as long as he’s around, which he’s planning to be forever.
Or, Yuri addresses what he saw while in Charley's scar, they have an emotional conversation, and then kiss about it.
