“Izuku, you’re special. You’ve been special since your Arrival,” Kacchan stressed. His grip became bruising as they continued to skate over the lake. “Maybe you’re not a king, but I’m telling you, you’re more than a frost fairy.”
Izuku sighed. He couldn’t bear to look at the emotion in Kacchan’s eyes, so he watched the glassy ground beneath them. Below the ice, he could see the water and sand. “I’m not, Kacchan. I’m really not.” His voice was quiet, almost lost amongst the metal scraping against ice and the chirping of the snowy owls.

Or, after learning he was meant to be a winter fairy, Izuku moves to the Winter Woods, where he’s supposed to belong. Despite the loneliness, he’s doing great. His wings are slowly healing, and his magic grows with each passing day. His life is perfect.
Until Kacchan starts noticing the inconsistencies, making ludicrous claims such as ‘Izuku has powers similar to the king’s’ and that ‘he’s just like King Toshinori.’ Totally insane.

Collective gasps were heard all around. Katsuki assumed they were also stunned by the fairy’s beauty, but then someone whispered, “His wings…”
Katsuki hadn’t even noticed the wings, too enthralled by his face, but his heart dropped when he spotted the broken wings adorning his back. Were they a result of the damaged dandelion seed? They looked painful, dark veins spreading from them down his back.
