Summary
From where she’s pressed herself into the wall by the sealed entrance, Tessa can’t look away. The party-goers pound their fists against the doors, try to hide under tables, try anything to get away from the slaughter. She can only stare, eyes wide as people she recognises as close family members to complete strangers are reduced to meat and bones.
Eventually, the room is silent. Cyn has had her fill.
Cyn straightens her back and swivels her head to look at Tessa, as if finally remembering she’s in the room. There’s nowhere to run.
This is it.
She’s going to die.
The yellow X on Cyn’s visor glows brighter. “You are afraid – but don’t be,” Cyn’s robotic voice coos, enjoying every second of this, “I already told you, si-lly. I will no-t discard you.”
-----A Tessa Lives AU where Cyn decides she likes her human flesh-suits alive. Tessa experiences the Unfathomable Horrors (TM) that Cyn gets up to leading up to the events of the series, trapped in her own body and unable to stop any of it from happening.
