Summary
Tim got used to it. The organized chaos. The chirping and cooing and occasional feathers in his coffee. The flock of doves following him around and nesting in his drawers. The murder of crows bringing him shiny trinkets and stealing his pens. It became his normal.
For over a year and some change, the Nest felt full. Lively. Predictable, even.
Until the day he came home from patrol, coffee in one hand, data chip in the other…
…and found a raven sitting on his desk.
Just—there. Like he owned the place.
Staring.
Silent.
Still.
Like a ghost.
And Tim—Tim just blinked and said, "Okay. That's new."

Summary
Life is never perfect, not for anyone, and definitely not for Timothy Jackson Drake.
But for all the drama of the last several months, things were looking up at last. His epilepsy was becoming a little easier to manage, his Mother was trying to be a mother for the first time in her mothering career, and he was finally starting to train again with the hopes of one day going back to being Red Robin.
Things were looking up, and they better, because Tim was getting real sick of things going wrong in his life. Which meant, of course, that things were about to go even worse because the universe just loves its favourite chew toy.

He was in his room, in the manor, and it was messy, but not the mess it should be. Instead of broken glass from breaking the mirror in a fury, there were clothes strewn about the room. Instead of a bloody Red Robin suit on the bed from the last time he wore it two weeks ago, there were crumbled bed sheets and his laptop at the base. He couldn’t remember the last time he worked in this room on that thing.
