Aziraphale leaned forward and peered through the glass. "Crowley!" he said, shocked. "What have you done to that poor beaver?"

'Deer' Lord (pardon the pun) -- it's rut season for deer demons (aka Alastor's greatest foe). As someone who prides himself on poise and professionalism, he despises having a time of the year that leaves him anxious, itchy, ripe-smelling, nauseous, depressed, feverish, and irritable. And as a sex averse Ace, he especially despises also being left...horny. His mind reviles the idea of intercourse with another; yet his hormonal blood has other ideas, and frankly it's all such a mess.
This is Alastor's first 'season' he'll experience as part of the Hazbin Hotel. He's hesitant to abandon the establishment for a full month lest he miss out on all his newfound fun. So he decides to try sticking around until his rut gets bad... Certainly he can handle the situation!
Certainly a spider isn't watching him, quick to realize that something is up, eager to offer unexpected forms of aid, just there and waiting and wonderful.
This is most Asexual 'Sexual' story ever -- bear with me lol.

Quite frankly, Alastor was loath to call it a friendship at all, because friendship (to his understanding) had some basis in respect and fondness. He had neither respect nor any particular affection for Angel Dust, and he was sure the sentiment was returned.
