Joel swung his head 'round to glare at the other man, pressing his lips together firmly in an attempt to mask his annoyance.

He was promptly cut off by Martyn slamming him into the back wall, hand tightly grasping his jaw and covering his mouth. Joel's pickaxe clattered to the floor, Martyns breath hot on his ear.

“I mean-” Was he really about to say this? He was comfortable with Jimmy and Tango, but maybe this was crossing a line. Was this going to make them uncomfortable? “I'm not asexual. I want to have sex.” He waited a second, getting two reassuring nods in response. “But for some stupid reason, god I don’t even know why, I want it to be special. I don't want to just have a one night stand. I don't want to just hook up with a stranger. I want to have sex with someone important. You know. Like a boyfriend. Who I'll never have because I don't want one.”
“Well that's not true,” Jimmy pointed out. “I was your boyfriend, for all of a month.”
“Three weeks,” Scott corrected.
“Close enough.” Jimmy shrugged, pushing himself off Tango so that he was instead curled into Scott's side.
“You hear what you're saying, right?” Scott checked. “In case you've missed it, you're currently implying that you would have sex with me.”
“No, I am well aware of that,” Jimmy grinned, sharing a long look with Tango that Scott couldn't quite decipher.

Only, it turns out that Scott hasn’t been entirely stood up, and that Tango actually knows the man he was supposed to be on a date with⎯ Scott’s husband, and his rancher from Grian’s games, Jimmy.
Tango might be freaking out.
But then he learns that not only do these two want him to continue crashing their date, they also want to date him. Together.

Summary
Scott kisses him.
The reasoning for the kiss had made sense in his head. Scott just kissed Jimmy’s boyfriend. Which was shitty, and sucked, and he shouldn’t have done it. But surely Jimmy couldn’t feel jealous if Scott kissed him too. Surely he couldn't be mad. Surely he would understand that really it was nothing personal, and that he hopes they both live wonderful happy lives far away from him.
These are lies. But that’s ok. It’s what he wants Jimmy to believe.

In which Jimmy and Scott used to be friends, Jimmy and Tango are together, and when Scott meets Tango, drunk in the kitchen at a New Year’s Eve party, he is a lot nicer than he expected.
