What would've happened if Rudo had fallen years earlier and has been roaming around the Ground for longer than The Cleaners knew? Trying to hunt down a supposed "Sphereite" only to track down a feral teen who had a hoard of Trash Beasts as family.

The man loudly groaned.
“Shut up for a bit.”
Rudo froze.
He hadn’t understood a single word in that sentence.
Or: It’s literally Gachiakuta, except language plays a major role in it.

Summary
The omega tries to fight back the panic building in his chest, but it only gets stronger and stronger. He inhales and exhales, again and again, trying and failing to find that one scent he can always rely on. He's missing something, no, someone important.
Where is the man that would pull the small omega into his lap when he was in too much pain to finish his nest?
Where is the man who snarled and fought the people who tried to break into their den to get their hands on the omega?
Where is the man that fed the omega, bathed him, cleaned him up, clothed him, and took care of him as if he was his own child?
Where...where the hell is Regto?
(Or: Rudo’s first heat without Regto ends with him going completely feral. Unbeknownst to Rudo, he has a pack ready to take care of the omega when shit hits the fan.)

Summary
The embarrassment and surprise of the whole ordeal shocks Rudo into some clarity. That weird, fuzzy, small feeling fades. And as he straightens up and the movie resumes, he stews on how he was feeling before. Rudo was definitely acting…odd, right? Cuddling with your…coworkers(?) is probably not a normal thing, even in a place as weird as the ground. And why was he feeling so weird? If Enjin and Gris knew all what he was experiencing, they’d probably be creeped out. He can most likely pass it off as being tired or something though, so it was just embarrassing.
These people didn’t want that kind of thing from Rudo. He needed to be a strong fighter–a protector! They didn’t want him soft or small or whatever. The only person who ever would is Regto and he’s…
Rudo can’t quite shake off his tension for the rest of the night, and the movie doesn’t seem as magical as before. He tenses consciously, feeling like a coiled spring, and resolves to be careful and not to let the weird, ‘small’ feeling happen again.
…It fucking happens again.

Summary
They come in the dead of night.
It shouldn’t have been as unexpected as it was. The suitors have grown bold in their restlessness over the past few months. Their talks have turned to thinly veiled threats, actions a hand away from harm, and eyes burning with a loathing that would make the dead shiver.
The calm before the storm should have set alarm bells in Telemachus’ mind. In Penelope’s. Or hell, even some of the guards. The way that the suitors, but especially Antinous, seemed to be in high spirits the past month should have alerted them to some sort of plotting. They had held back, suspiciously so, from their usual haunts and taunts, giving Telemachus and Penelope room to breathe for once.
They should have known something was up. But with the past twenty years of waiting, tense and worrisome, the reprieve had been welcomed, not questioned.
They forgone looking the gift horse in the mouth and now it was snapping its rotting teeth at them.
