“Dami.” The nickname is no longer a resigned utterance, but a sharp warning as Dick stands and begins to, once again, pull the boy away.
“Need to know what?” Jason forces himself to sit up with a slight wince, his back propped against the too-flat pillows. “Unless Dickwad here managed to kill the Joker, I don’t wanna hear it.” His sarcastic laugh is mixed with an irritated huff and scoff, all in one.
Dick’s movements stutter, and he internally curses himself for it. Jason, while not renowned for his detective skills, is still part of the family– incredibly smart and intimate in his knowledge of Dick’s behaviors and tells. That, and the satisfied smile on Damian’s face, give it away.

Aaron had been a mechanic with McLaren for many years now, and he quite liked his job. Sure, he'd ended up in the garage that wasn't Lando Norris' and therefore ended up having to deal with 3 new drivers in his career, but Aaron wasn't actually opposed to that. Carlos hadn't been the worst to deal with, and Daniel had been a delight. Oscar was the easiest to work with, and Aaron was pretty confident in the assumption that the rest of garage 81 would agree.

The hot water kettle is just a bit too heavy at breakfast one morning and Nico loses his grip. Lewis is next to him at the buffet table of the hotel and catches it out of reflex; Nico knows better than to think it’s kindness. He stares at where Nico’s fingers are still refusing to cooperate.
"What happened to your hand?"
"Nerves" - Nico answers with a shrug, glad for the double meaning in the English phrasing.

Basically: the entire grid, apart from (Daniel) and Checo, are gay and there is a super secret chat called the F1 Fruit Vendors where they talk all things SLAY AND GAY (Daniel's words).
Chat and longer form writing fic that began silly but quickly became angsty. So it’s a real mix of silly miscommunication shenanigans and angsty miscommunication drama in the fruity orchard. If there is one thing we know about the orchard - there will be miscom, horny shenanigans and angst.
It begins in 2024 and is now going into the 2025 season. It features an insane amount of people - too many for the tags - but F1 and some F2 people, and some oldies pop up every now and then. Get ready for one hell of a ride through emotionvile!
