Summary
Zuko realizes his destiny much earlier. As in, as soon as he wakes up in the palace after his Agni Kai and is told he is banished. Unfortunately, he's never been a patient one. So he storms right up to Ozai and tells him what he's going to do. And gets locked up for over three years. Then, one day, he's being pulled out and told he's the new Fire Lord.
A "Zuko never meets the Gaang and suddenly becomes Fire Lord after three years of literal torture" AU. In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of the new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh constantly has a headache, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.

Summary
You know how everyone wrote reader-insert or OC-insert fanfiction where they suddenly wake up in One Piece?
Yeah, well, we're bringing that back for the live action.
"A girl wakes up throwing up seawater in a small boat in the middle of the ocean. She doesn't remember how she got there, she doesn't know why the boy in front of her is talking about the "East Blue", since that was from One Piece, and this wasn't One Piece because that's an Anime and-
Ah. Of course. The girl was dreaming.
A dream that is suddenly too much and too real.
The girl- "Nova", she insists though it's not her name- is suddenly thrust into a world she'd always dreamed of and always wanted, but never could have. She doesn't know why she's here, and she can't imagine she'll be anything BUT a burden, but she's determined to be a part of the story. Or, at least, Luffy is."

“You've got something, but you don't wanna tell me what,” Luffy says, surer this time. Their voice is as light as the campfire, but it burns with the heat of the blaze. Zoro would never wish an immortal life upon anybody, but the fire in Luffy makes it hard not to dream.
