"Brenda!"
A voice carried her out of the thoughts. Her head snapped to a side, her barely shoulder length brunette hair swishing in front of her face briefly to cover her vision. She turned her gaze to the voice's origin and relief flicked in her chest momentarily at the sight of the boy, the whole reason they were in this cursed city again, it was a success! But something was wrong: the silhouettes that followed him were two too few. She double checked that Thomas & Newt weren't just slightly behind but atlas they didn't come up around the bend, only Gally was at his side. Of course there had to be some hiccup; this was awfully too easy. The spark of hope she had felt for a moment kept to her before it dropped dead.
Or; Death cure but Brenda gets to Newt soon enough.
Movie based with references to book.
