If you had told the Wyatt from a year ago that he would be in the middle of a rodeo arena with white face paint on and bandanas tied to the belt loops of a pair of blue denim jeans, he would’ve looked at you like you had grown a second head. This Wyatt, the one from right this very second, would’ve laughed and told you that he has been doing this almost every weekend for the past four months.

Summary
A rare thunderstorm smears neon streaks of light across the tacky booth tables that line the wall. An old school radio crones from the kitchen access ledge, the storm isn’t going to let up till late tomorrow night. The diner has been deserted since Wyatt had served the last of the late-night dinner crowd an hour ago. Outside of the handful of townsfolk, Wyatt rarely sees the same face twice. The Black Dog Diner seems to be stuck in time, from the gritty black and white tiled floors, the stereotypical 1950s red booths, even down to the jukebox shoved in the back corner. The “out of order” sign had been taped to it since Wyatt's first day, three and a half years ago, a staple for the Diner. He has been the only one of the revolving door that makes up the waitstaff to stay for that long, aside from the kitchen staff.

I’ve spoken to R, the only survivor with seniority over you, and she is quite adamant to remain in her current position with your approval... Which leaves you”.
M held out a pen.
“Quartermaster”.Or, “I don’t just have one alpha”. Q grinned, bloody and feral. “I have nine. They’re called the double-0 program; perhaps you’ve heard of them?”
