Lena looks at him wide eyed. “Save us? What are you saving us from exactly? We're dead."
“Well, not quite.”
Kara steps into his personal space then, giving every bit the aura of a steaming hero. Lena walks up a step as well, putting the back of her hand on Kara's chest and giving her a shove backwards before she thinks much of it.
“What the fuck do you mean ‘not quite?’ If we're dead, we're dead. There is no in between.” Lena says incredulously.
“Actually,” the angel snaps his fingers and a chair appears in the middle of the room. He takes a seat, crossing his legs and a book similar to the one she was trying to get off the shelf appears in his hands. Nirvana – A Spirit Guide. “There is.”
Pulled from their lives by a meddling angel, Lena and Kara must learn to work together if they have any hope of returning home. But there is one small problem with that.
They really hate each other.

Summary
Kara is struggling with accepting her sexuality since it goes against Krypton's view on the matter. She finds herself infected with red kryptonite and interacts with her best friend Lena. Overly confident Kara manages to make Lena flustered and seduces her. Things become sexual and then get angsty because Kara doesn't know how to deal with accepting who she is once she is back to normal. But maybe Lena can help her with that.
or the one in which Kara struggles with her sexuality. Gets infected by red kryptonite, hooks up with Lena and then ignores her. Angst ensues and Lena helps Kara come to term with being gay while they deal with typical National City problems.
