“Bakugo,” Aizawa said as she crossed in front of his desk. “No gum.”
Kacchan stopped dead and gave an exaggerated sigh. Izuku almost walked straight into her back. From that close, he could see the baby-fine, almost white hairs at the nape of her neck. Very slowly, he scooted around behind her.
“Ugh, seriously?” Kacchan was saying.
Aizawa didn’t reply, just stared her down and pointed at the trash can by the door.
Kacchan rolled her eyes and scoffed, but marched over to the can and spat her gum straight down into it from her full height. From his desk, Izuku followed its arc with his eyes.
He wondered what flavor it was. Some kind of mint, probably — he couldn’t imagine Kacchan picking anything fruity. He’d been very close to her earlier, just inches away, but her back had been turned so he couldn’t smell the gum on her.
Did her breath smell of mint right now?
Did her mouth taste of mint?
Izuku bit down on the inside of his lip.
