Summary
The last person Kate expected to see at the boardwalk was Loki. She was throwing darts with Yelena when she caught sight of him, the focus of her afternoon immediately shifting from showing Yelena some of her favorite places to keeping tabs on the individual she considered responsible for her father's death and the beginning of her journey as a hero. When Yelena called it a day, Kate's diligence turned into riding rollercoasters and walking by the shore with someone she'd once considered an enemy. She never expected Loki to become a friend, let alone more.

It's more or less a Notting Hill AU, mainly because of the set-up, but there are some scenes that you will certainly recognize from the movie! This is fluffy story, with some angst, but basically just two people getting together.

And it’s the who that keeps running through his brain. And he really really wishes that wasn’t the case. He’s had grid-crushes before. But the way he’s thinking about his teammate is fueled by something deeper than rivalry or close proximity. There’s something in Fernando’s eyes reserved just for him, and it’s enticing.
It’s really enticing.
