Pokemon AU
Mira wants connection. Mira is a premier talent in Pokemon battles. Brought up by her family of powerful trainers, they force her to conform to their own battle style with Pokemon they have their staff train for them. She wants out of this vicious cycle with her own team of partners that she has a genuine connection to.
Rumi wants recognition. She is the daughter of two of the best trainers on the planet, however their jobs keep them separated and Rumi doesn't know how much longer she can handle seeing the dying joy in her Mama's eyes before she snaps. She has to get better so that her Eomma will recognize her abilities and come home.
Zoey wants everything out of life. As long as she keeps moving and keeps her joy front and center then all of the weight of expectations won't touch her. She will never be stuck by herself again when the world and its Pokemon denizens are out their to befriend.
When all three girls converge at Mega Evolution Guru Celine's dojo, they don't know it yet but they will change each other's lives.

Summary
Three years ago a horrible murderous night happened in Whitestone. The entire De Rolo family and their family friends the Bradbury family were killed. The only survivor was the Bradbury's daughter, Laudna. Vex'ahlia, dealing with her boyfriend's death, takes two-year-old Laudna rather than let her go into the foster system. Its been three years and today is Laudna's first day of Kindergarten and Vex is kind of freaking out about it. She hopes that whoever Laudna's teacher is, she knows what she's doing.

Summary
Set after machines have destroyed the world and AI has reterraformed it, humans live in tribes. The Carja, worshippers of the sun, try to appease the maddened machined beasts by a brutal campaign called the Red Raids, capturing people from other tribes for human sacrifice through machine combat in the Sun Ring.
Jinx, and Oseram tinkerer has survived her trips to the Sun Ring and the Mad Sun King Jiran's attempts to kill her thus far. However, she won't be able to last forever. Unless she gets out of this cell, she will end up just like Isha: ripped apart by machines.

So that’s it, huh.
Mira does a better job at stifling her tears than Zoey, but she still feels a few warm drops run down her cheeks.
The hopes and dreams of being an idol at Sunlight Entertainment—hell, of being anything—are gone with a handwave from some guy in a suit and a paper that says “Thanks for auditioning”.
Before she can storm out as quickly as possible to save what little face she has left, Mira turns on her heel and freezes at the sight of Celine, the CEO of Sunlight Entertainment, watching her. That odd woman with the purple braid and mask floats behind her, eyes gleaming.
“Mira. Zoey.” Celine steps towards them. “Before you leave, I have an offer I’d like you to consider.”
Or: When Mira and Zoey, both running from difficult pasts, audition to become idols at Sunlight Entertainment (famous for its mysterious headliner idol Hunter) and fail, all hopes of meeting and training under Hunter go out the window until Celine makes them a different, surprise offer: train under Celine’s unknown ward Rumi instead.
(“Why us?” Zoey asks.
“Honestly,” Rumi says, “I think you're both really weird.”
