When Jean is injured following a lead, Harry is expected to step back in, run C-Wing, and find out what exactly happened. “Are you two the last ones out?” He asks.
“Should be,” Kim answers in his stead. Jean gives him a curt nod of gratitude.
“Great, you two can go on ahead then, we'll be right behind you. Just wanna make sure nothing important gets left behind.” There was always the chance someone left sensitive documents, or a whole gallon of fuel, maybe even a spare generator behind—and those are the kind of losses that add up.
Before he can move past them, Harry grabs his shoulder, a faraway look in his eye. “Don't stick around too long,” he says, eyes still clouded.
Jean tries to search Harry's face for an explanation, but his features aren't very forthcoming. “Harry what–”
As if snapping back to reality, Harry squeezes his shoulder even tighter. His face, now tight and drawn, expresses only concern, “I've got a bad feeling.” He says, like it's an explanation.

Immediately after the events in Martinaise, Harry and Kim are tasked to investigate the death of a child found in Le Royaume. What seems to be a cut-and-dry case quickly turns into something much deeper, both for the detectives' past - and their future.
