Too stunned to speak, Mari allowed him to continue, wiping away and intricately taking care of each finger individually before she snagged her hand in horror.

“Helping of course.” He said rather cheerfully, smiling slyly at how fast she regained her composure. How fast would it take him to undo it again? “Think of it as an apology. We did after all let your prey get away, and for that I must make up for.”
