Summary
Shermie definitely didn’t sniffle because he was crying. He only sniffled a little because it was cold and he was wet from the walk in the rain, not because he was sad and scared and alone. Shermie didn’t cry. He steadied his voice to hide the shake in it and said “Um, Ma’s ok. She gave me your number.”
“Oh.” The voice paused. “What’s- uh, what’s up?”
“Um.” Shermie gulped. “I need- some help.”
“What is it?”
“Pa.” He took a deep breath. “Pa kicked me out.”
The voice didn’t speak for a minute. When it did again, it shouted “What the fuck?”

Summary
He poked his head into the living room with the full intention of forcing his brother to go to bed rather than sleep in the armchair again, only to find the room void of life.
The room was quite still. The only sounds were that of the television and the occasional coughing of the air conditioner.
A pit of dread began to form in Ford’s stomach.

Summary
“Useless, waste of space, weak! That’s it,” he cried, standing straight in front of Stan, looking like he was a hundred feet tall as he towered over his family. “Tomorrow, you’re both starting boxing. If you little punks can’t keep out of trouble, you’re going to learn to fight and win. I don’t want to hear about you two losing again.”

Summary
The man leaned in, acting way too familiar for Stan’s liking. His head was half poked into the car, mere inches from Stan’s face, and he looked concerned. Not angry, not annoyed, just… concerned. Vaguely, Stan realized the man had a flashlight, illuminating his face and the inside of the car just enough to be seen properly.
“Are you alright?” he asked Stan.
Stan blinked, then mumbled “Uh, yeah, sorry, I’ll move.”

Summary
McGucket grinned at Stan joining in. “D’you remember this one?” he asked, delighted.
Stan shrugged. “Heard it down south a few times.”
“South?” his brow creased. “Didja visit me?”
“Uh… no. No, I didn’t.” Stan once again reminded himself that you can’t reason with crazy, just end the interaction as quickly as possible while hopefully convincing them to buy something.

stan and ford learn what generative AI is. it starts an unfortunate trend for ford--but stan's the one who's really upset.
comedy, family fluff fic about ai-generation of six-fingered people written by a real human. does not endorse nor support the use of gen ai (quite the opposite, in fact).

Summary
Stanley Pines would not describe his life as 'tragic'. That required a certain level of dignity that the universe refused to allow him. So really, this was par for the course. The least he can do is laugh about the whole thing. It’s a shame nobody else seems to agree with him.
