Summary
In a fit of rage and half-processed thoughts, Mizi burns down Alien Stage; however, this isn’t the end of her.
Bound to a metal body in a foreign place, she must learn to navigate this world and the people on it—where aliens haven’t enslaved humanity. A place where humanity’s past still lives. A place for her to exist in solitude, but this isn’t easy.
More and more, she struggles to survive. Her past’s shadow, along with the constant itch of this new body, overtake her days. The bots and humans that found her aren’t helping, either. They constantly bother her more often than not, trying to get her to open up and examine what’s wrong with her.
But as more time passes, as the past gets to her, will she let people in, or will she break under the pressure?

“Easy there,” a voice soothed as Sam gasped for breath. “Deep breaths in and out. You’re alright, sweet spark. You’re alright now.”

Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.
