Rozanov cocked his head. “You speak Russian? Or just the curse words?”
“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Despite an inauspicious start, when Russia’s Ilya Rozanov learns that Canada’s Shane Hollander is fluent in Russian at their first World Junior Championships tournament, it changes everything and sets them on a different course. Instead of being branded as rivals from the very beginning, Ilya and Shane start off as friends.

Summary
Buzz is building around the queer extravaganza that’s planned for this season’s run with a bisexual Bachelor - England’s own star pro-rugby player Nicholas Nelson. But what are the showmakers going to do for twelve episodes if their Bachelor and one of the newcomer contestants have fallen in love at first sight?
‘Would you … kiss someone, in front of the cameras?’ Charlie asks, his heart hammering louder than the music in his ears. He moves his body again, feet squeaking closer to Nick’s, his finger where it lies along Nick’s finger on the floor suddenly pressing. He hitches in a breath as he feels Nick’s pinky finger hook onto his.
Nick looks at him, his head drifting slightly closer, then he takes a quick breath and looks away. ‘I don’t know … maybe?’ he says.

Summary
Charlie Spring finally settles on a university away from home, away from his past in Kent, hoping for a fresh start. And, to be honest, hoping for a man. His teenage years were filled with hardly a drop of romance, and let's be honest, there's only so much a teenage gay boy can bottle up. What he doesn't realize is that he's going to be surrounded by so many different, very attractive men in university, and that could have some consequences.
Nick Nelson, hoping to get his own fresh start after fizzling out at University of Leeds, heads for a smaller school. Unfortunately, his brother's reputation follows him around like a bad case of the clap, attracting requests from various organizations and fraternities to join. What Nick doesn't realize is that his pathway is about to collide with several others during his sophomore year, revealing feelings he has denied and kept hidden for the past decade.
We all know that Nick and Charlie are destined to be together, in any universe, but what will it take in this one?

Here it is, the Heartstopper x Sweater Weather crossover nobody but me clamored for! You do not need to read SW to read this fic. However, if you HAVEN'T read lumosinlove’s Sweater Weather (and Coast to Coast, and, well, everything), you absolutely should, because it is a remarkable piece of writing (as well as its own standalone AU).
There will be parallels and divergences from both Heartstopper and Sweater Weather in this story.
Do I know a ton about rugby? Nope! Do I live in England? I sure don't. Will I get a lot of things just wrong enough to be annoying? Definitely! Will there be science facts at the end of each chapter? I can’t help it. Enjoy the ride.
