Summary
When Damian was a child, for a time he had an older omega brother named Jason. Jason was kind, and gentle, but simple. He would never hurt or betray Damian. When Jason died, there was no funeral.
Years later, when Damian moves in with his father, he sees a photo of Jason. Dozens of them, in fact. How could he ever tell his father that his older son came back to life, but died again before he ever knew he was back? Instead, he holds this failure close to his chest, impacting his ability to connect with his father and his brothers.
And then Jason shows back up, alive and well, and Damian is left with questions only his mother can answer.

Summary
Jason whined to himself as he rearranged the blankets of his nest for the fifth time that hour. He was at the manor for his heat, and everything just felt wrong. Usually, he’d be spending his heat in his apartment with his alpha taking care of him, but Roy was out of town and they both figured he’d feel safer if he was at the manor this time around.
But his nest was wrong, there was slick uncomfortably soaking through his pants, he was losing himself to the haze of his heat, and there was no alpha keeping him safe.

Jason bites back a groan at the flash of what could only be Dick’s fingerstripes a rooftop over. The last thing he needs right now is Nightwing poking his nose in his business. He’s tired and achy and cold. The rains been non-stop all night and it’s soaking through to places that shouldn’t be possible.
Jason wants to go home. If it weren’t for the time-sensitive nature of the lead he’s chasing, the sight of Dick would definitely have sent him there.
Or, Jay's in pre-heat and Dick gets a little overprotective
