Summary
Between a rock and a hard place, Stiles seeks a solution at the Beacon Hills Associated Hospital, an SCC affiliate specialized in breeding programs to ensure the survival of endangered supes. He can only hope that Derek Hale will give him the time of day and help save his father out of the goodness of his heart because Stiles has very little to offer, besides the small chance of freedom if they successfully breed.
“I must say, I’m surprised you continue to pursue Derek even after all of our warnings. He won’t choose you. He’s been here long enough that his instincts are getting confused. I believe he interfered in Jordan’s courting because he thought Jordan was a threat to your wellbeing. Don’t mistake his interference for interest.” Deaton sighs. “He’s stubborn and volatile. His reluctance to breed doesn’t bode well for his future. Which is an immense pity. He’s the last of his line. A direct descendant of one of the few native werewolf packs in California.”

Summary
There is occasionally a certain point one reaches during the attempt to attain a goal where one decides that the goal is just not worth it.
Unfortunately, this also often coincides with being at a point in the attainment of that goal where it’s too damn late and you’re just gonna have to suck it up, buttercup, and get your shit together and do it anyway.
Tim is pretty sure this shit is absolutely not worth it, but it’s too late now and even if it wasn’t, Mama ain’t raise no fuckin’ quitter.

Tim’s quest to bring Bruce back from his Time-Travel-Super-Vacation goes horribly topsy-turvey when Ra's takes a more pro-active approach to keeping Tim prisoner, and he ends up in an alternate universe where he never existed, and everybody is disorientingly well-adjusted and weirdly obsessed with his “wellness”, whatever that means.

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school.
Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it.
It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing.
And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero.

I was watching the Chamber of Secrets movie several years back when the scene in question began to play...and immediately I wanted to know what would happen if the wand had done what it was supposed to do. The answer got very complicated, very, *very* quickly.Blame Edgar Allan Poe for the title.
