Summary
Destiny is a strange thing. It denies free will—yet everyone knows Eve still bit that apple.
Rea grew up in a small rural town in a deeply corrupt country, protesting injustice whenever she could. But after her relationship fell apart, the weight of everything left her exhausted and alone.
One night, walking home from a protest, a familiar car sped toward her, drunken laughter spilling from inside. The driver recognized her. Rage took over.
