Summary

When Chuck starts regaining power, Dean has to use his newfound wings and powers to fly with Cas through the multiverse to defeat him (again). A hand lands on his shoulder, right over the fucking mark. Dean jolts. When he looks up, Cas is closer, and there’s…almost a kind expression on his face.
“Your mother would not hate you for what you did in hell,” he says.An examination of Dean and hell and how demons managed to convince the little boy who made Christmas for his brother when their dad didn't come home that he was a monster.

The air is just the right amount of morning cool that Dean can sit on the slightly wobbly stool on his cabin’s back porch in his sleep shirt and boxers, with a cup of joe and be perfectly comfortable, while still enjoying the warmth seeping into his palms from the cup. He’s dead, and it’s awesome.
