Summary
Shane stands in the elevator, pulse beating in his ears that are stained red from embarrassment. He stares down at the text, a million thoughts racing through his head.
We didn’t even kiss.
He wants to hit send, but he knows better. He knows that telling Rozanov this will not get him anywhere. He won’t get what he wants. He isn’t even really sure what he wants right now.
Six months of silence. Six months of absolutely nothing. He should have never walked into that bathroom at the award ceremony. He should have sat down in his seat in the audience and just let it be.
Why can he never let things be?
Shane hits send without thinking.______________________
After the Major League Hockey Award show in Vegas, Shane hits send on the 'we didn't even kiss' texts rather than deleting it. It turns out better than he could have hoped for, and he gets the aftercare he deserves.
Episode 2 Las Vegas fix-it fic.

Summary
Over the years he thought maybe, just maybe, being knotted by an alpha semi regularly might change something, like his biology would one day answer Ilya’s despite their ups and downs. He even helped Rozanov through a rut one time, and at the time he thought surely his inner omega would finally respond to his pheromones and the teeth shaped bruises on his nape that almost resembled mating bites and give him a heat.
But nothing.
Heats are the last thing on his mind right now though. Ilya is spending two weeks with him at his cottage, alone. Completely and utterly alone. Together.__________________________
Omega Shane has never had a heat. Over the years, he has given up on expecting to have one, but when he spends two weeks with alpha Ilya in the comfort of his cottage, something unexpected happens: he is thrown head first into his very first heat. Luckily, Ilya is there to help.

Summary
"I'm calling it 'Adopt a Stray,'" Cliff announced, pacing the rug. "Tomorrow night. Boston vs. Montreal. We announce a new 'tradition.' We say that Boston has noticed that not every team is as close as ours. We say we’re looking for 'strays'—players who aren’t really accepted by their team, always seem an outcast, that need a little extra team bonding or whatever. And the first 'stray' we’re adopting? Is Shane Hollander."

Summary
Shane Hollander is stupid.
Ilya didn’t know what Shane saw in him, but you can't just fall for a man you barely met. You can't just fall so deep and so quickly.
Shane looked at him like devotion came naturally, like getting hurt was a price he was willing to pay. Ilya wanted to protect him from being hurt at all costs. But what if he was the one who did it?
Shane went first in the draft, and then threw it away by choosing Ottawa.
A bad team. A losing future. No Cups. No real rivalry.
Ilya didn’t understand the decision. He refused to.Or.
Shane got his second chance. This time, he refused to wait for years to get his Ilya. He had to take him fast, before depression or any other crap got him. But if he touched the timeline wrong—if anything went off-script—what did it cost?
