His voice was a whisper. No static. No theatrics. Just him, just Alastor, speaking to his Vincent as he used to seventy years ago, in the intimacy of his hideout, when the world didn't exist outside the two of them.
—Can you hear me?
A moment of silence.

Summary
After Vox nearly vaporized everyone in the Pentagram, got his head ripped off and demoted to the very bottom within his own company, his existence had turned utterly miserable. These days, there was nothing he fantasized about more than dying and coming right back as the powerful CEO he'd been before he went and screwed everything up.
Eventually he couldn't take it anymore and sought out the only person he could imagine helping him in his wretched situation; Alastor.
The plan was flawless! Until he was faced with the fact that regeneration isn't quite as straight forward as he thought.

Except, Leon comes out months after the break up and Matthew learns it might not be about him.
