Jungkook’s wolf howls inside his head as he pulls a small piece of red cloth from his pocket and places it on the desk. Scent tokens like this one usually accompany proposal letters. They're supposed to entice an alpha. To tempt him. To tease him. But when Jungkook first pulled the red cloth from the envelope —when he smelled the omega for the first time— he wasn’t enticed or tempted or teased.
He was consumed.

This fic is engrained permanently into my brain chemistry, the most perfect found family, character healing, strong omegas & layered alphas, romance/mystery/action/comedy work of ART. AND THE WORLDBUILDING!!! Omg I live with the crossroads dirt from now on. And you don't often find omegaverse fics that have unique lore but even that was perfect. Jumped right to my list of all-time favourites.
