Jungkook’s wolf howls inside his head as he pulls a small piece of red cloth from his pocket and places it on the desk. Scent tokens like this one usually accompany proposal letters. They're supposed to entice an alpha. To tempt him. To tease him. But when Jungkook first pulled the red cloth from the envelope —when he smelled the omega for the first time— he wasn’t enticed or tempted or teased.
He was consumed.
The strong scent now fills his study, and he breathes it in until it fills him up just the same. He’s been breathing it all day, every day for a week straight. AND THE WORLDBUILDING!!! Omg I live with the crossroads dirt from now on. And you don't often find omegaverse fics that have unique lore but even that was perfect. Jumped right to my list of all-time favourites.

I cannot express the level of masterpiece this is. There are stories that are well written, and then there is writing that is so good it launches those great stories into space. If the plot entertwines, so do the POVs, so do the thoughts, so do the sentences. Magical!!!!!

Or a story where Jeon Jungkook accidentally becomes an accessory to what his hyungs call a consensual kidnapping where the target is Kim Namjoon’s own younger brother. Jungkook had only heard of Kim Taehyung in the stories his hyungs told about him. The omega’s absent presence suddenly becomes more present than absent when Namjoon learns that their parents have arranged to mate him to a family friend. With a kidnapping scheme coming together over boxes of takeout, Jungkook offers up the not-quite-spare room in his apartment as a temporary housing solution until his hyungs can figure out a more permanent one. But the longer the omega stays, the longer Jungkook wants him to stay as he slowly realizes that his apartment isn’t the only place with room for two. -
