Summary
Billy Hargrove doesn't keep his promise to Max. He doesn't keep it in a pretty spectacular fashion, actually. Instead of staying away from her friends, he murders one of them.

Summary
Steve has never won a fight. He’s had his ass kicked left, right, and center. Hell, Johnathan has kicked his ass. Steve can bat a monster, but when it comes to people? Steve Harrington has never really won a fight.
But that’s because he’s getting put in the wrong kinds of fights. They think he’s a hammer, when really, anyone who grew up BFFs with Carol becomes a scalpel.
(Dustin gapes like a fish. “Holy shit, dude…” Steve would chide language if he thought it would do anything. “You just performed real life Vicious Mockery. I think that guy took psychic damage!”)

Summary
When Vecna is defeated, Eddie’s still warm body is rescued, and the crew begin to make their escape, the seals on that plane of existence begin to close. Everything that existed before Will entered is destroyed, but things brought afterward are shunted back into the handful of moments in 1983 surrounding Will's capture. Robin and Steve, facing their death, find themselves waking in their younger bodies. Running on adrenaline, barely grasping the reality of their situation, their first impulse changes everything.
Three kids disappear that night. Small-town gossip does what it likes. For some, guilt sets in when the kids are rescued, covered in fresh injuries and scars.
Things change. Traumatized, Steve and Robin do their best to make sure it changes for the better.
