“What are you doing here?” he asks when it becomes clear that Chris is too shocked to speak, and despite the delicious nectar of the gods he’s drinking, nothing can fully take away his irritation at the man in front of him.
The last time he’d seen Chris, he’d jumped down his throat about the whole Celina situation, and Tim is still just a tiny bit salty about it.
“Uh… what are you doing here?” Chris answers, and then his eyes flicker down Tim’s body and Tim has to admit that his presence and his current state of undress at Lucy’s apartment at six in the morning are rather damning. He’s barefoot, wearing only a pair of sweatpants that are hanging low on his hips. His chest is bare, his normally perfect hair a mess, and he knows for a fact that he’s at least half hard in his pants (without boxer briefs to help hide it) because he’s been thinking about Lucy all morning.

Chris shows up at Lucy’s apartment. Tim answers the door.

Tim laughs, his chest rumbling, as he takes a drink of his own coffee.
“I, unfortunately, know what you’re like in the mornings now, Chen. Bringing you coffee is just a public service, really.”
Lucy half heartedly flips Tim off, and Angela isn’t the only one staring now. Nyla, next to her, is repeatedly punching her shoulder, eyes wide and mouth open, and Angela laughs but shakes her head.

“You can prove it? What, that Rozanov is your Boston girl?” Shane nods, and Hayden looks at him with disbelief. “Go ahead, then. Prove it.” He gestures at Shane, urging him to do so.
“Fine. I will.” Shane pulls his phone out from his pocket with determination and unlocks it. He opens his messages with Lily and presses call in the top corner. The contact page for Lily fills his screen as the call connects. He turns the phone to show Hayden the screen then puts it on speakerphone.
Hayden crosses his arms and watches intently as they wait for the call to connect.
It rings four times before the call connects.
“Ilyaaa.” Shane says into the speaker before Rozanov can greet him. He ignores the way his mouth pulls into a grin when he hears the response.
“Hollander?”

Ilya swallows, eyes flickering between Shane, two people he recognises as Shane’s parents, and Hayden fucking Pike.
They all look at him with surprise, and a little hostility. Pike actually starts to rise from his chair, poised to, what, defend Shane? As though Ilya would track down an injured player to a hospital bed to cause more trouble?
He’s ready to just turn around and leave, but Shane’s managed to focus his eyes on the door.
“Ilyaaaa!”
