Summary
Lucas snorted, glancing at Mike out of the corner of his eyes, “You’re saying William Byers is a more complicated subject for you than your parents' sudden divorce?”
“Unironically, yes,” grumbled Mike.
“Dude.”
Mike sighed, looking at the ceiling. “I know, Lucas, okay? I know.”
Or; Karen leaves Ted and subsequently kickstarts Mike's journey to reclaim his bravery.

Summary
Will feels displaced in California, disconnected from his friends, and unsure of where he fits anymore. The others aren’t doing much better. They’re separated, carrying their own unresolved struggles, and feeling stuck in different ways.
After a particularly strong wish from Will to be together again, they are suddenly reunited in Mike’s basement and told they must watch their past, present, and future. As they go through all five seasons of Stranger Things together, they confront what really happened, and realize that, by the end, the future may not be as fixed as they thought, and they can make changes for the best.
