Summary
Lo'ak used to sleep just fine. In fact, he’d been called a freak for his ability to fall asleep anywhere under any circumstance if he wanted to. Of course, he used to be a lot of things. Omatikaya. Warrior. Youngest son. It was just another consequence of his actions, just another thing he would have to suck up and get used to.
The waves lapped beneath him.

His dad snored.
He flipped back over and resigned himself to another sleepless night.

Summary
What if Lo’ak’s attempt was succesful, what if the Sully family has to lay both their sons to rest in the same month. Lo’ak did not commit out of the blue but it was something he had struggled with for longer but it took him succumbing to his mental illness for anyone to notice his need for help.
