I wrote this while I cold called people and asked them to vote in the 2024 election. It’s a little sickfic for Randy. I think Benson is the kind of guy to immediately throw out instructions and then he has to fish them out of the trash later when he can’t remember them.

Summary
Randy almost doesn’t understand how it happened, even though he’s the one who started it. Three weeks ago he’d never had sex with anyone, never thought about doing it with a guy, didn’t think much about doing it at all. And maybe that means there’s something wrong with him, but he’s not stupid—he understands that Benson wants this from him. And if Randy can use that to keep them on track for a little while, maybe Benson will come back to himself. Will shake off the shock, and tell Randy what the plan is.

"Remember when I said I hated you and you said you hated me?"
Quark slides his legs off the side of his bed and sits up.
"What the hell are you doing?" Odo snaps.
Quark stands on shaky legs, dragging the metal stand that holds his IV bag with him as he pads over to the side of Odo's bed.
"Get back in bed!"
"I'm trying to," Quark says. "Move over."
(In which Odo and Quark figure some things out after they go for a nice hike together.)
