Sirius always snuck Regulus cherries when they were younger. He would pass them under the table. Leave them hidden in Regulus' room until they could sneak them out later to snack on.
Cherries were always Regulus' favourite. Cherries always left Regulus' lips stained Red. And his fingers constantly stained purple.
When Regulus starts his 5th year at Hogwarts, He still has Purple stained Fingers.
Because not even his mother could stop him from loving his brother.
