well not alone anymore, he's got this really small adorable looking alien now! and he's in too deep, he's already sworn his life to the guy.
Tommy picks up alien friends left and right to slowly work his way around space to survive. His hell through space does not prevent the affection that his heart still retains and he slowly begins to heal the scars that have been formed from being treated like an experiment, an animal.
now if only he could talk to them.

The local facility is filled with Practical and Cultural Necessities— there is simply no space for a whole Iterator to sit, other than where Looks to the Moon is already situated. Unless you wish to suggest something drastic, such as removing the (Technically impractical, but highly venerated) True Anointed Citadel, then your proposal is Dead in the water before it can begin.

Summary
Two iterators with an aptitude for bioengineering have modified their own puppets to function separately from the rest of their superstructures, and have set out on their first missions to spread this ability.
Personal ties made who they would start with obvious, but complications inevitably arise when even the remaining parts of a superstructure are severely damaged. There needs to be pre-existing information for it to be compacted into a more mobile form, after all.
How would one go about reclaiming their own memories? How would one relationalize the remnants of their strong emotions towards the people around them? Who even was Five Pebbles before his collapse? Who even is Five Pebbles?

After setbacks from every corner: from the hardware to the software to the political, Five Pebbles is finally online. The Administrators can rest, the Engineers can toil at their leisure, the Citizens can continue ignoring the new god beneath their feet, and the Iterators can get to know their newest member.
This, naturally, immediately veers sideways.
