Summary
Although history would forever know him as 'Lord of Calamity XXIV', Heldalf hadn't always been hellbent on dragging the world into perdition. Once upon a time he had been General Heldalf, a straightforward man with a straightforward goal: win the war and secure his family's well being. When a new ally makes herself known, General Heldalf anticipates that his fortunes are about to change.
Unfortunately, he's right.

Summary
So picture this: it’s 3:36 in the morning and she's lying on the roof of her high-rise apartment building, fifty seven stories of steel and glass raising her into the sky like an offering. The shitty, thin beach towel under her is the only thing protecting her shoulders from the rough concrete.
To her right is a boy who is not really a boy, but an animal in a boy disguise that isn’t even all that convincing. They’re not looking at each other, both content to stare at the few stubborn constellations that shine in spite of the light pollution.
Picture this: it’s 3:36 in the morning and she is stargazing with a creature she's meant to kill. It’s 3:37 in the morning and he just lit her cigarette for her.
Yeah, Shadowheart has given up trying to make sense of anything these days.

Summary
She will burn the nest of poison vipers that calls itself House Baenre to the ground and their monstrous goddess with them. She will take control, reshape their world in her image, and she will smile as her mother rots in a sunlit flowery grave.
And then, once their conquest is complete, she will return to Waterdeep with her wizard and lay in this bed with him (annoyed, because he didn’t close the curtains properly and the sun is creeping in through the crack). It will be so, it will be good.
