Summary
Welcome to the Broken Tomarrymort Telephone!
Back in March, during a discussion about the then-newly formed Exquisite Tomarrymort Corpse (coming soon! So exciting!), a few of us decided to play a game of Broken Telephone -- passing a whispered word or phrase around a circle, with it often evolving into something quite different as it goes from person to person.
In our version, the starting person received a secret prompt and wrote a fic based on it. They then created a prompt for the next person by summing up what they had written in a single sentence -- with the caveat that their prompt couldn't use the same words as the prompt they were given. This continued through twenty-six (26!) different authors and artists, each adding their own flair and creativity to the exercise.
Which brings us to now! We're wrapping up the creation part, so it's time to start sharing it with the world. We hope you enjoy what we've created -- we certainly enjoyed making it.

Summary

The game so nice we played it twice! Once again a few of us decided to create a Broken Telephone -- passing a whispered word or phrase around a circle, with it often evolving into something quite different as it goes from person to person.

Everything felt so peaceful. There was no evidence of strife or disrepair like the Konoha in his time. None of them knew of the Third Shinobi World War already building in the shadows. Civilians lived without fear, and shinobi joked about missions. He watched children playing in the Academy playground, so similar to the scenes from his own childhood before shit hit the fan. A tiny smile formed behind his mask.
