This is an slight alternate universe fanfiction that started off as just revision for my english paper 1 exam, that I then decided to finish. I haven't seriously wrote in over a year, and my quality is likely all over the place, sometimes I have good days others not. Can be read as Rook x Ben (It's also hinted at) but nothing major happens regarding that.

So when things go wrong (as per usual) and Ben thinks he's dead for sure, he's a bit surprised to find himself waking up in the Rustbucket with a ten-year-old Gwen sleeping on the bunk below him, and the calendar on the RV fridge indicating that it was the middle of June in 2006.

"Home. Money that you have the right to dispose of as you please. Delicious food every day. A rich, luxurious life. Agree?"
Tommy bit his lip and looked down. Risky. Very, very risky.
Tommy is pleased that after his death he got into a novel he read once. In the end, he is a background character at most, and the whole drama of the plot certainly does not concern him.
But one day Philza Craft, the main antagonist of the story, comes and declares him his son.

This time, though, it’s at night and it isn’t All Might who saves the day, but a slippery guy who welcomes Izuku’s help. He fills the spot of admiration that All Might had had in Izuku’s heart. Izuku doesn’t let the fact that the guy doesn’t have a hero’s license bother him.

Izuku befriends a vigilante and gets ingrained into a world that’s all ‘gray area’. At some point he even finds himself interacting with people who have stepped over the line into the ‘villains’ side. Izuku might spend a little time over the line too. Or a significant amount of time. Depends on who you ask.
