Summary
She wakes up in a massacre, drool and blood dripping down the front of her shirt as she stares emptily at the two dead bodies before her.
A part of her mind is screaming, howling at the memories of countless deaths carved into it and the burning betrayal of his brother.
The other is sobbing hysterically at the memory of hands that took and took until there wasn’t anything left to take.

She feels disconnected from the world she's awaken in, where children are being taught to kill and she's living in the same house the boy saw his family be slaughtered in and no one seems to care.

Summary
"Whatever you do, make sure that prince doesn't die."
That's what Tsunade told them before they left. Whatever they did, the Prince of the Mountain Mists must reach the Land of Beasts alive. Sakura lost count of how many times she repeated it. Success was paramount. The Land of Mountain Mists was a secluded country, well known for their quality weapons and armor, and twice more for their dislike for foreigners. They never requested foreign help - never. For them to request it now meant they were desperate.
It really should have been an easy escort mission. Protect the prince, make his father happy, and get the Land of Mountain Mists to revise that old treaty with the Land of Fire and sell their goods that had the ninja world scrambling at a lower cost. But when they arrive, they discover that the prince is acting strangly, his personal bodyguard has been murdered under odd circumstances, and the Lord Daimyo is clearly lying to them. Will they succeed and return to Tsunade as heroes, or was this mission doomed from the start?

Summary
Five years after the war is over and Zuko hasn't stopped working a single day. The Omega, having taken on a self sacrificing attitude has already given up on all of his hopes and dreams. It's worked out for the betterment of his people but at what cost to Zuko's sanity? Things are thrown into disarray though when Bato shows up in Sokka's stead for trade negotiations, stating that the Gaang decided to go on a trip around the world without telling him because they thought he'd be too busy to come. They were probably right, but it still stung.
