Summary
Everything about him always felt like water.
He supposed that everybody who got to the level he was at, a Hashira, should feel like their breathing style. Should have practiced it so much that they felt a part of it. Should have embraced the life of this, the life of a Demon Slayer, and for him, the life of water.
Yet water was always different.
He tried as hard as he could, every day, to keep the surface calm.
The harsh winds of Shinazugawa could whip the surface, harsh words, glares, scoffs, cold shoulders and more, but the surface of his calm would not alter.
The pokes from Iguro, the snide comments, eye rolls, dark looks and more could try to create ripples, but no.
