The child should have left the moment those little white birds were released from their jar, or hidden anywhere but there when the Shepherd’s manatees were slaughtered.
It would have bought them enough time to find somewhere to hide.
They would have been together, scared out of their minds but safe and sound.Hiding together not knowing if the room is going to cave in is much better than this….
Battlefield is no space for a child, nor is the world that is will full to take everything from them, leaving them with thoughts and memories that burn.

It stands in front of three others. One is yellow and one is red and one is blue.
It looks down and it is green.
It looks over and the walls are white.
It looks up and the ceiling is white.
It looks around and the world is white.
The others are not white. They are yellow and red and blue. It is not white. It is green.
None of them fight.
Or, Green, Yellow, Red, and Blue slowly come to life in a world they grow to despise, a world that is cramped and vague and impossible to leave.

You have a new memory, stardust! Loop coos. It's called Memory of Forget-Me-Nots! A bit on the nose, isn't it? I thought it would be a helpful one for your blindingly frustrating memory issues, but!~ Loop drones on and on, as Siffrin stares blankly down at the flower.
You won't have to ask the Researcher or the Flower Growing One about flowers ever again! With this memory in mind, you'll understand the language of flowers! They laugh, gleeful. Being in a Timeloop is hard enough with the stress of a love confession dangling in front of you. But the Universe clearly doesn't care since Siffrin has a new problem: a rare disease that causes you to grow flowers in your lungs due to unrequited love.
