Summary
Just as Stephen Strange is settling into his new life as Master of the Mystic Arts and Sorcerer Supreme, he starts having unusual dreams. Snippets of a world-ending event he’s never witnessed begin to haunt him even in his waking hours, and he eventually looks to the time stone for answers.
Vowing to find a way to defeat the alien Thanos from killing half of all living things, Stephen’s humanity rears its ugly head when he falls in love with the one man meant to die saving the universe. It’s a cruel twist of fate that he will not accept.
Refusing to leave the time stone until he’s figured out a way to save Tony Stark, Stephen finds himself in a desperate, hellish loop. He's going up against all of his training and destiny itself, but he'd rather die trying than watch the death of his beloved happen in real life, no matter the consequences.
