In the Thomas Harris novel series, Hannibal has black hair, pale skin, and red eyes. I had a random thought that this fanciful description could match up to the real life condition of albinism somewhat— and so this fic was inspired!

Summary
A year or so after Hannibal and Will survive their fall off the cliffs, they’ve established their current tenuous peace in a villa safe house in the Italian country. A more passionate kind of tension now lurks below the surface of their relationship, and when Hannibal heads out after an argument and gets in trouble with a rather rude Italian street gang, what choice does Will have but to borrow his motorcycle and show up to make a scene and take him back home….? Sometimes all it takes to make the pot boil over is a little outside nudge. Or rather, a little outside conflict, nice weather, a leather biking jacket, and some blood on the paving stones spilled just for Will Graham’s partner in decidedly more than crime…..

The shrill whine of the bone saw echoes faintly through their bedroom, carried on the wind. Jack’s bellowing protest. The blade catching on periosteum. Bloody bone dust flying through the air. At the time, Hannibal wasn’t sure if he could actually go through with it, even as his biceps tensed, holding Will’s head still, maintaining pressure on the saw. Closer and closer to the meninges surrounding his soft frontal lobe…
Head swimming, his arm tightens around Will’s waist.
Hannibal struggles with intrusive thoughts about eating Will's brain.
