Mira's eyes were back on Zoey, finding a near petrified expression. She was starting to put the pieces together but needed a confirmation. Slowly, she turned back to Rumi and hesitantly asked, "Zoey?"
Sure enough, Rumi was the one who responded, "Yeah?" finally glancing up to look between the other two women.
Mira finally understood what was going on. "Oh shit."

Catra’s vision went black, then red; blood rushing to her head, her pulse pounding as a single horrifying notion raced across her mind.
“What did you do?” she whispered.
Adora smiled, and Catra recoiled at the sight of blood staining the Horde solder’s teeth.

“Adora, what hurts? What’s going on?” WHY. DOES. SHE. CARE?! She’s been standing here listening to this girl confess that she watched her best friend get beaten by their caregiver for years and did nothing! Yet, the look of pain on Adora’s face looks so real it actually scares Catra.
“I told,” Adora gasped, “I tell her she will never hurt you again. That you’re my friend and I won’t let her touch you! She just laughs at me...and grabs my head and suddenly everything goes red and zappy! Like..like her powers! And it hurts sooo bad, but then...I wake up. It’s like nothing ever happened, but I always wake up with a headache. Every time.”

After the battle of Thaymor, both Adora and Catra are wrecks. Catra is full of bitter thought about Adora's betrayal, whilst Adora, across the Whispering Woods, is being eaten alive by guilt.
In a desperate attempt to clear the air, and get rid of all the misconceptions surrounding the past few days, Adora convinces Bow to help her send Catra a message. A message that may, or may not, dictate what side of the war they end up on.
What happens when Adora and Catra meet up the night after the battle of Thaymor, to talk and work things out?

There’s not a body. It would be unnerving, if Glimmer weren’t already used to mourning somebody without a grave. The closest thing they have now is an ice sculpture Frosta made for She-Ra, standing in the garden, tall and preserved. A princess, a story, a legend.

"She-Ra is gone," should have been a statement that ended the war. It should have been a victory. For bitter months, there was nothing Catra had wanted more than to get rid of She-Ra for good, she just wanted Adora to come back home. Adora herself wasn't supposed to disappear in the process.

Adora realized that Catra wanted to come with her. She weighed the options. Leave Catra behind. That way, if Adora was a little delayed, Catra wouldn’t be blamed. But knowing Shadow Weaver, Catra would be blamed even if Adora went alone. So the other option would be to take Catra with her, but make sure they got back before anyone could notice they were gone.
The choice was easy. Adora grabbed Catra’s hand and ran with her to the Skiff port. Catra navigated while Adora commandeered. Together they would escape once more.Or: Catra goes with Adora to find the Sword, but together they uncover a greater truth. How do they manage this revelation? Well if I told you, it wouldn't be fun.
